WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT TROUBLESHOOTING

WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT TROUBLESHOOTING

Many clients have installed wastewater treatment plants from companies which do not necessarily have enough technical personnel. Each wastewater treatment project is different. We have helped many clients - ranging from small industries and developers to multi billion dollar mining companies - to troubleshoot their wastewater treatment plants that were designed and installed previously without due consideration to the complexities. If a wastewater treatment plant is not properly designed considering all the parameters that can impact, for example, the strength, the short term peak flows, the composition (such as sulphur compounds), seasonal variabilities of flow and strength, the plants would end up in a disaster. Often clients go to the cheaper option initially, but later find that they ended up having a treatment plant that costs more to operate, but does not provide the necessary treatment, and often causes issues such as odour generation.
